Developed and registered in Germany, SaniQ Heart is recognized as a Class 1 medical device under the German Medical Devices Act. It meets the standards set forth by Council Directive 93/42/EEC regarding medical devices in the European Union. However, it is important to note that the app does not substitute for professional medical consultations.

The app offers a free version with options to purchase subscriptions for enhanced features, such as premium reports, medication photography, personalized weather and pollen data, Excel exports, multi-device connectivity, and advanced medication management. Payment is processed through the user's iTunes account at the time of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of the term unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to renewal in Account Settings. Cancellations will not affect access to premium features until the end of the current payment cycle.

SaniQ Heart integrates with HealthKit to import existing health data like blood pressure, pulse metrics, SpO2 levels, and weight, allowing for a more personalized user experience.
